London-based producer Talal makes his debut on Black Rose with the ‘One Thirty’ EP, a three-track excursion into melodic deep house, and When We Dip is delighted to premiere its title track ahead of the July 24th release.
‘One Thirty’ sets the tone with a smooth, hypnotic flow. A warm bassline anchors the groove while evolving melodic layers drift across the top, building an intimate late-night atmosphere that feels made for the quieter, more reflective hours on the dancefloor. Talal has become a recurring force in the electronic music world. His releases have charted across Beatport’s Techno, Electronica, and Chillout playlists, and his recent remix on Booka Shade’s album reached the Apple Music charts in 58 countries. Along the way his music has earned support from the likes of John Digweed, Dave Seaman, and Bicep, and he has taken his sound to stages including Family Piknik Festival in France, BEONIX Festival in Cyprus, and Shipwrecked Festival in New Zealand. He is also signed to respected homes such as Renaissance, Spectrum, and Blaufield.
Black Rose continues to build a reputation for carefully curated melodic and deep electronic music, and ‘One Thirty’ marks the label’s ninety-eighth release. Welcoming an artist of Talal’s pedigree feels like a natural fit, and the EP sits comfortably within a catalogue that favours mood, atmosphere, and emotional depth over the obvious.
