Born and raised in Budapest, Hungary in a very musical family, Adwer got in touch his musical side at an early age. He’s been honing his craft of music production and DJing since the late 90s, has traveled quite a lot, and is based in Barcelona for many years now.
His productions and DJ sets reveal his eclectic taste. He seamlessly transitions between genres, proving himself to be a truly versatile musician and has been releasing critically acclaimed and chart topping music in multiple sub-genres, such as techno, progressive house, indie dance, electronica, and ambient.
One can clearly hear the presence of trance and progressive elements in his music, along with synth laden electronica, and IDM influences – interpreted in his very own way with a touch of filthy house grooves and futuristic, atmospheric, dubby techno elements.
Adwer‘s productions have consistently gathered outstanding feedback from the best taste-makers of the electronic music scene, managing to get the attention of artists he admires, from techno heavyweights to DJs that play softer and more melodic styles. Dixon, Ame, Laurent Garnier, Sven Vath, Maceo Plex, Sasha, Mano Le Tough, John Digweed, Joris Voorn, just to name a few.
Now, he’s focusing bringing his live act to worldwide audiences, alongside his 30+ years of experience as a DJ. He is a true wizard of live sets, able to handle 8 tracks of his own stems real time, with hardware synths and drum machines, creating a completely unique experience as he is remixing his own ideas on the fly.
Fresh off his latest EP on his very own Bolygo Records, the live maestro takes us on a radiant ride on this week’s episode of Prima Lux. Enjoy!
