Los Angeles based producer and multi-instrumentalist, Danny Goliger, today joins the roster of Dirtybird’s White Label artists with the release of his new EP, ‘Sustain’.

Following recent cuts from Nikki Nair’s ‘More Is Different’, to Ivy Lab’s ‘Press Play’ EP, Dirtybird White Label series #4 continues to release an eclectic range of genres. The label set out a simple mission with their new arm: to defy expectations of the current sound and continue its ethos as a formidable tastemaker, now continuing with on the rise artist Danny Goliger.

‘Sustain’ marks Danny’s first solo record on Dirtybird. The EP weaves a tapestry of sound and emotion across four pieces of unique, left-field electronica, bringing a sound all his own to the White Label series.

Danny opens the EP with melancholic track ‘Deliverance’, an emotive breakbeat effort, then picking things up with the punchy ‘Inchoate’. An avid collector of synthesizers and drum machines, we see Danny’s one of a kind production shine through on gritty, textured, experimental track ‘Venality’. Rounding out the EP is final track ‘Fog’ with Michael Fam, with an irresistible deep bassline reflective of cosmic UK garage. In his own words, the EP is a creation of “something beautiful where people can still hear the influence of breakbeat and idm,” says Danny.

Utilizing a mostly hardware studio, Danny effortlessly blends a wide range of musical styles to create the genre-bending eclecticism across his catalogue. With years of experience as an engineer in commercial recording and contributing drums and keys to live shows as a seasoned instrumentalist, it comes as no surprise that Danny Goliger has released captivating original tracks and remixes with labels such as Fantastic Voyage, Dirtybird, clipp.art, Art | Werk, Tokimonsta’s Young Art Records, Hot Boi Records, and Moving Castle.

‘Sustain’ further showcases Danny Goliger’s analog synth skillset and will be available on streaming platforms November 12th with vinyl available for pre-order. You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Fog’ exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
