Demuir is next up on the essential new Plump Records label with a new two-tracker packed full of heat. Once again it shows off this artist’s eclectic house sound with fulsome and soulful drums and infectious grooves of the sort that have come on labels like Hot Creations, Moxy Muzik & Kaoz Theory.

Bustin Nutz opens up and brings the off-grid goodness with a nice loose lead synth, spoken word vocals that bring the attitude, and a warped, fat-bottomed bassline that will pump any party. Prick of Japan is then a bustling jack track with spiky hits and raw drums. Sleazy vocal samples and frazzled synths bring the late-night vibes while a low-slung and unrelenting baseline worms away below.
