New Violence bring the heat to winter with the Sands Of Time EP from LA based duo Freddy Be & Savi Leon. The collaborators had success last year with the Benevolence EP on Under No Illusion and here they deliver a heavy hitting house cut in Sands Of Time supported by remixes from the red hot Makanan and Funkagenda alter ego, Soul Trader.

Opening with the title track, Sands Of Time, a brooding, atmospheric cut peppered with swirling, tripped out vocals. This is perfect stuff for late night floors. Next is the Late Nite Dub which is aimed squarely at the heads down crew. Makanan steps up to take on remix duties and once again delivers the goods. Building chunky drums around a bubbling Arp, the Elrow man constructs a devastating dancefloor bomb ready to be unleashed in main rooms everywhere. Closing the EP is none other than Soul Trader. The stripped back alter ego of uber-producer Funkagenda brings drums and lots of them, stripping back the original vocal and crafting a techno-tinged thumper ready to cause mayhem.

We have the chance to Premiere the Late Nite Dub version. Enjoy !
