Progressive House: Ones To Watch

When We Dip

We’re seeing a real resurgence in progressive house at the moment and by that we mean genuine Prog House productions. It’s definitely somewhat spearheaded by Swede Eric Prydz who is championing the sound around the world. The term Pryda Friends-esque has never been so popular. Young producers very much dreaming of joining the likes of Jeremy Olander, Fehrplay and Richard Knott on the imprint. Today we’ve chosen two of the most impressive up and coming progressive beatmakers to keep an eye out for!

First up is Scotsman James Campell aka JERC. Campbell has developed an incredibly polished sound and has the necessary arps and melodys down without question. Residing in Aberdeen he works closely with fellow Prog House talent Ronnie Pacitti whom we’ve introduced you to before. We’ve got the latest track from JERC for you today, it’s called “Equinox” and it’s a free download!

The Second man to catch our eye is SymphonySounds. Known to his mother as Patrick Perez, he is merely 20 years of age and comes to us all the way from Toronto. He’s another man hoping to catch the attention of Mr Prydz and if “Left Out” is anything to go by he has a right to be optimistic. Also a free download, enjoy!
