My Other Side of the Moon continues to reinforce its position within the Afro House landscape with a refined and purposeful new release. This time, the spotlight turns to South African talents Enoo Napa and Phila De Giant, who reunite alongside Canadian vocalist Deniz Reno for the ‘So Real’ EP a project that highlights both musical depth and dancefloor accessibility.

The EP unfolds across two contrasting yet complementary tracks, each revealing a different shade of Afro House. Opening with ‘Coffee’ the mood is immediately inviting. Bright melodic elements glide over crisp, controlled grooves, creating a sense of lightness without losing rhythmic drive. Deniz Reno’s vocal performance adds a smooth and emotive layer, bringing warmth and a certain intimacy that makes the track adaptable, equally effective in early evening sets or more uplifting peak-time moments.

In contrast, the title track ‘So Real’ shifts into deeper territory. The atmosphere becomes more intense, with a heavier rhythmic structure and a darker tonal palette. The progression is subtle but gripping, drawing listeners into a hypnotic flow that steadily builds tension on the dancefloor. It is a track designed for immersion, where repetition and mood take center stage.

What stands out across the EP is the natural synergy between Enoo Napa and Phila De Giant. Their ability to navigate between lighter and more introspective sounds without losing coherence speaks to a mature artistic vision. Deniz Reno’s contribution further enhances this dynamic, delivering vocals that feel authentic and intentional rather than ornamental.

The ‘So Real’ EP is available here.
