Berlin-based imprint Keep My Letters makes its official debut with ‘KML001,’ a record that marks both a new chapter and a deeply personal beginning for founders Tantum & Hyunji-A. Originally launched in 2024 as an event series in Berlin, Keep My Letters now evolves into a label — a creative platform for Tantum, Hyunji-A, and like-minded artists who dare to think differently.

At the heart of the first release lies ‘Keep My Letters,’ a track that embodies the connection and intimacy driving the project. Written in 2024 as a closing piece for the first-ever KML event, which hosted Guy J in Berlin, the track carries Hyunji-A’s heartfelt Korean lyrics layered over a minimal yet emotional production. The duo chose to preserve the purity of its original sketch, allowing the music’s sincerity to shine through.

For the debut release, Simon Vuarambon was invited to remix ‘Keep My Letters.’ A close friend of the founders and a renowned name in the melodic house and progressive scene, Vuarambon perfectly translates the label’s ethos into sound. His rework is a soulful, atmospheric twist that amplifies the track’s emotional core while weaving in his signature melodic finesse. The result is a remix that feels both timeless and forward-looking — a fitting contribution to KML’s very first record.

‘KML001’ also features Tantum’s ‘Return To Sender Remix,’ a trippy, edgier reinterpretation, as well as ‘Mirror,’ a darker collaborative cut between Tantum & Hyunji-A that showcases the label’s wide-ranging sonic palette.

With its first release, the label sets out its mission clearly: to be a home for music that blurs boundaries, values sincerity, and celebrates experimentation.

We are delighted to host the exclusive premiere of Simon Vuarambon’s remix of ‘Keep My Letters’ here on When We Dip. Enjoy!
