Adam Werderits is Adwer, Bolygó Records founder and a Hungarian artist based in Spain who formerly released as Adept. He is a multi-faceted producer and synth magician who has explored everything from old school trance to ambient electronica, progressive house and techno on majors like Warner as well as the legendary Bonzai Progressive, Global Underground, Balance, Clash Lion and many more. He has been producing and playing live for over 20 years and has always been an early adopter of cutting-edge technology, which lends his music a futuristic edge and his synths a real sense of meaning.
‘Kraut Komet’ is the opening track and has been played by Innervisions main man Dixon at almost every gig for the last two years, and now finally gets an official release. It’s a deep rolling groove defined by its searching, ever-evolving celestial leads and shape-shifting synth modulation, which never fails to work dancers into a trance.
‘Band Pass’ has a bolder groove but more expressive synth work that injects machine soul and plenty of cinematic tension. ‘Love Set Me Free’ is less intense, instead offering radiant keys and gospel style organ chords that bring a real sense of hope and optimism.
‘Pigeonhole That’ is a genre-blurring sound with gorgeous melodic wisps falling down the face of a shimmering synth line and motor drums with a subtle kick and pulsing bassline. Adwer really makes his machines sing and brings a lyrical quality to the leads of ‘ Lay Your Hands On Me’, a rousing sound with chest-pumping energy and sophisticated melodies that lodge deep in mind, body, and soul.
You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Kraut Komet’ exclusively on When We Dip Radio. Enjoy!
