Moses Sumney broke out in 2017 with his Aromanticism record; one of the stand out tracks being the mirage-ridden, sandblasted masterpiece Lonely World. The single feels like a trip through a barren desert, or possibly even through the middle of space, where Sumney takes listeners on a 5 minute odyssey, crescendoing into a house-tinged ballad.

Sumney’s single is amazing in its own right, and a dance-ier remix was inevitable. Producer Sam von Horn seems to have felt the same and saw the potential for his own re-work. The LA-based artist releases his Lonely World spin in part of his ‘Made Some Edits’ EP. Von Horn expertly samples the track and gives it his own unique twist.
