Powered by the Le Bacchanale team, Ancient Future is an innovative festival that offers Montrealers the ability to join each other on a creative journey in a utopian setting. The journey includes visual arts, a collective space, and electronic music by some of the hottest local and international artists. EPISODE agency established the eco-friendly festival with the goal of creating something new in the scene, and Ancient Future has succeeded in this mission.

The festival is meant to be a way of assessing tomorrow’s society, on the border of our future desires and values of our past. It is a multidisciplinary event that combines musical aspects, as well as live original circus acts and visual stimulation. The festival will take place at the Quai de l’Horloge, in the old port of Montreal on September 8th and 9th, 2017.

With the busy city life of downtown on one side, and the flow of the St. Lawrence river on the other, the festival venue will come to life as the city trembles, the music rumbles, and a pyramid appears in the utopian city. The event will be equipped with a musically diverse program of local and international artists. The line-up includes The Underachievers, Sam Paganini, Kevin Saunderson, Branko, Victor Ruiz, Johnny Trika, Atroxx, Rico Shae, & more.
