Last week we brought you Kaskade’s infectious remix of Lana Del Rey’s ‘Young & Beautiful’ and this week we’re bringing you an intriguing remix of Cedric Gervais’ take on the gorgeous American’s ‘Summertime Sadness’. 

Having heard Summertime Sadness get the full spectrum of remix treatment (the MK remix still doing the business for us) ETC!ETC! has brought us a remix which on paper doesn’t sound to pleasing to the WWD ears. However, this remix fuses the progressive style Gervais unleashed on the original with some chilled and slightly heavy vibes from the trap origins of ETC!ETC!’s musical wisdom. The combination certainly makes for an interesting listen and with trap not usually our style, what’s more is this number surpassed all expectations here at WWD and the ‘Trapped It!’ remix from ETC!ETC! was actually a pleasing listen.
